Women’s Day and Swap Meet with Positive Women Victoria

Join Living Positive Victoria and Positive Women Victoria for our annual Swap Meet!
This special event is open to all women, trans women, and gender-diverse people living with HIV. It’s a chance to come together, share a meal, connect with others, and maybe even find a new treasure to take home.
Bring Something to Swap
Have some pre-loved items looking for a new home? Bring along up to two shopping bags of clean, good-quality items such as:
- Clothing (women’s, men’s, and children’s)
- Shoes and accessories
- Toys
- Books
- Artwork
- Candles
- Household treasures and bric-a-brac
Anything you don’t swap will need to be taken home with you and can be donated to your local op shop.
What NOT to Bring
To help keep things safe and manageable, please don’t bring:
- Electrical items
- Furniture
- Baby equipment such as prams
Don’t Have Anything to Swap? No worries at all! You’re still welcome to come along, browse the tables and take something home, enjoy lunch, and spend time with community. There will also be bead bracelet making and other fun activities on the day.
Share a Little About Yourself
This year’s event is also an opportunity to celebrate the diversity within our community. We’d love to learn more about your culture, traditions, food, music, and art.
Feel free to bring along a recipe, piece of music, photo, artwork, or anything else that reflects your culture, identity, or something meaningful to you.
Children Welcome
While this event is designed for adults, children are welcome if needed. Please let us know when you register and bring along something to keep them entertained during the day.
We look forward to sharing good food, great company, and a fun afternoon of swapping, storytelling, and community connection.
