Bi++ Group
Living Positive Victoria (LPV) is thrilled to invite people who identify as bi+ to join Bi++, the first bi+ only space in Australia for people living with HIV.
What Does Bi+ Mean?
Bi+ is an umbrella term that includes people of any gender who may identify as:
- Bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, fluid, demisexual, queer, questioning, and more…
Bi+ identity isn’t just about behaviour. It’s about attraction, connection, and self-understanding. You might feel romantic toward one person, sexual toward another, or both. It’s fluid, open, and beautiful.
If you don’t identify as heterosexual, lesbian, or gay, you may fall under the bi+ umbrella —and you’re welcome here.
Why This Space Matters
- Research shows that over 10% of people living with HIV in Australia identify as bi.
- Bi+ people have long faced unique challenges and discrimination in Australia’s HIV response.
- LPV acknowledges these experiences and is proud to create a safe, affirming space for the bi+ community.
Join Us
Bi++ is a space to connect, share, and celebrate your identity with others who understand. We run a range of fun social events, and discussions with guest speaker on topics of interest to Bi+ people living with HIV.
Whether you’re out and proud or still exploring, this is your community.
