The Experiences of Trans and Gender Diverse People Living with HIV - Living Positive Victoria

In an Australian first, this qualitative study investigated the experiences of trans and gender diverse people living with HIV, focusing on Victoria. Interviews explored experiences of navigating health and support services, social connection, identity, and belonging. The study was commissioned by Living Positive Victoria as a joint project between the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, La Trobe University, Transgender Victoria and Thorne Harbour Health. Its findings and recommendations should be used to improve clinical and support services, research, and program development for trans and gender diverse people living with HIV.
