In 2024 it is estimated there are more than 421,000 people living with all forms of dementia in Australia. So what exactly is dementia? How can we recognise it and how can we treat it? Dementia is also a severe form HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorder or HAND.

Join in the conversation as we unpack these conditions. The more we understand neurocognitive conditions the more we’ll know how to deal with it.

We recently released a podcast episode talking about HAND. Listen to it below.

Taking Charge is a partnership between Thorne Harbour Health and Living Positive Victoria.
