Here’s some useful info…

Let’s show up loud and #ProudlyPositive 💙

We can’t wait to march with you and celebrate our wonderfully diverse community at the Midsumma Festival Pride March. Whether you’re positive or not, walking with LPV is a powerful way to show solidarity and visibility for people living with HIV.

Meet: 9:30am (please be on time – you won’t be able to join once we’ve started)
🚶‍♀️ March starts: 10:30am
📍 Where: Ian Johnson Oval, St Kilda
🟦 Find us in: Wave D – look for the signs on the oval
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 More the merrier – this event is for everyone regardless of their HIV status. Please register below

⚠️ Please note there will be road and public transport closures.
For travel info, check the Midsumma website before you head in

🎒 What to bring
The forecast is mild (around 19° and cloudy), so come prepared with:
• a water bottle and sunscreen (we’ll have some extras too)
• hat and sunglasses
• and whatever you need to look and feel fabulous ✨

👕 When you arrive
Once we’re together in Wave D, we’ll hand out wristbands, LPV t-shirts and our branded umbrellas.
We’ll also need two volunteers to carry our new banner at the front!

📸 We’ll grab a few happy snaps – then it’s time to march.
Be as loud and proud as you like and show your true colours!

🏁 At the end
The march takes about 20 minutes and finishes at Catani Gardens.
We’ll collect our LPV gear from you and then you’re free to enjoy the rest of the day’s festivities.
