Queer Art at the Bullarto Hall

Curated and presented by Tom Harvey, Queer Art at the Bullarto Hall is a group exhibition celebrating contemporary queer visual art from across Victoria, presented as part of the ChillOut Festival in Daylesford over the Labour Day long weekend.

The exhibition will include recent works first shown in You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), featuring portrait works from Living Positive Victoria’s HIV disclosure guide, Let Them Know. These works centre lived experience, intimacy, and the many ways queer communities hold care, memory, and connection.

Alongside these pieces, the exhibition brings together a broader selection of queer visual art practices from across Victoria, curated by Tom Harvey, offering a generous snapshot of the diversity, tenderness, and strength of queer creativity today.

Set within the welcoming space of Bullarto Hall, this exhibition invites visitors to slow down, spend time with the work, and encounter stories that speak to love, resilience, and community.

Entry is by gold coin donation.

This exhibition is part of ChillOut Festival, Australia’s longest-running regional LGBTQIA+ pride celebration, transforming Daylesford and surrounds into a vibrant hub of queer arts, culture, and community.
