Multicultural Engagement Strategy: Community Launch

In the lead-up to this year’s World AIDS Day events, Living Positive Victoria invites you to join us for the launch of our Multicultural Engagement Strategy 2025–2028.
Developed in partnership with Ananda Training & Consultancy and guided by our Multicultural Advisory Committee, this strategy is the result of extensive consultation with a broad range of multicultural organisations and community stakeholders.
Quote from CEO, Richard Keane:
“Building on our recognised support programs for multicultural folks living with HIV, this Multicultural Engagement Strategy shifts us from being reactive to the needs of emerging communities to being proactive and deliberate. It strengthens our organisation through a three-year action plan that embeds an anti-racism framework, improves cultural and psychological safety, builds capacity, and elevates the lived experience of people born overseas and Australians of diverse cultural backgrounds. Our goal is to ensure inclusiveness, accessibility, and meaningful engagement across all our programs and services.”
Join us to be among the first to see the official launch of this important piece of work that will guide our organisation’s direction for years to come. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Getting there:
The Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre is a short walk from the #1 tram stop on Swanston St, servicing the 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72 tram lines. The building is wheelchair accessible.
On-street metered parking is available in surrounding streets (make sure to check signage).
