The twice-annual LPV volunteer induction is right around the corner, and we’re pleased to invite expressions of interest from all people living with HIV in Victoria.

Various existing roles are open to volunteers, and the development of some exciting new roles is in the works. We remain committed to the health and safety of our volunteers in the midst of an ongoing pandemic, and are working to develop and maintain meaningful remote and accessible opportunities to get involved.

LPV’s calendar of upcoming events is a great way to get involved, with World Aids Day on December 1, regular Planet Positive Socials, Midsumma Pride March, and the Candlelight Memorial all on the horizon. There are many other ways to be part of the team, whether you’re interested in volunteering for events, office-based projects, remote projects, ongoing, or one off opportunities. You will have hear more about the specific roles available and express your preferences at the volunteer induction.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 4 November. Please register your interest by following the instructions on the Become a Volunteer page.

Volunteers will be invited to have a one on one conversation with our Volunteer Coordinator, Dimitri, in advance of the induction. Any questions or queries please contact Dimitri at ddaskalakis@livingpositivevictoria.org.au.

Late registration? No worries, you will be invited to the next induction event in April next year.

Living Positive Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
