Positive Health Care Workers Network: Webinar

Living Positive Victoria is thrilled to invite all healthcare workers living with HIV to join us for the inaugural Positive Health Care Workers Network (PHCWN) Webinar.

This event is open to a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, aged care workers, disability support workers, and dentists.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Olivia Hollingdrake as our special guest speaker. Dr. Hollingdrake is a Registered Nurse and previous lecturer with the QUT School of Nursing and has just joined the team at La Trobe University. Her research focuses on stigma and its impact on access to care for marginalised communities, including people living with HIV. Her work is grounded in community participation and guided by the belief that those affected by health conditions must have a voice in shaping the research and policies that impact their lives.

To hear more from Dr. Hollingdrake ahead of the event, we encourage you to listen below to her appearance on the ‘5 Things’ Podcast: Episode 69: ‘Five Things About Stigma’ – also available on Apple Podcasts (link is external).

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to connect in a confidential, peer-led discussion space, facilitated by other HIV-positive healthcare workers.

Please note that all participants must read, sign, and adhere to the LPV Privacy Statement and the Rights and Responsibilities Policy – you can read these by clicking through to the registration page

The Zoom link will be shared once these forms are completed.

For any questions or further information, please contact Sarah Feagan at sfeagan@lpv.org.au or at 0490 132 604.

We look forward to seeing you there and building a strong, supportive community of HIV-positive healthcare professionals.
