Are you 50+ and want to connect with others
For Victorians with HIV 50 years of age and up. So, did you put those walking shoes away? Well, get them ready as we try again for our walk around Albert Park Lake. We postponed our last walk but life under COVID just loves to throw us curve balls. And of course, we still need to say hello to those swans and their chicks. They’re waiting for us!
It’s social, healthy and being outdoors, relatively COVID safe. For the mind, body and soul. We’ll be walking at a comfortable pace, so for anyone with mobility challenges, please let us know how we can maximise your experience. Options can be doing part of the lake or just meeting us for lunch. The walking path is flat and not too ‘gravelly’ so it should ok for anyone in a wheelchair.
If Melbourne decides to act like Melbourne, whether it’s the weather or COVID, we’ll have a PLAN B. If the weather turns nasty and we’re allowed, we’ll have a lunch nearby. If COVID gets in the way again, and we can’t meet in person, we’ll simply jump online.
Complementary lunch provided.
