Strategic Plan 2023-28: Pillar 1 – Support
Building on our strengths as an organisation, we have developed a framework of 3 pillars to guide our decisions over the coming five years.

What this means for our community…
- LPV will begin work on developing a Reconciliation Action Plan to strengthen our commitment to working with our First Nations communities and individuals
- LPV will collaborate across the sector to identify new ways to meet the needs of older PLHIV
- LPV will continue to strengthen the Peer Navigation program supporting newly diagnosed people and others seeking support and referral and strengthen connections between the Peer Navigation program and clinical partners
- LPV will coordinate the Camp Seaside event for families and children living with and affected by HIV and host an annual family end-of-year party for women, heterosexual identifying folks and families with children and host a family day out
- LPV will coordinate social support groups for Asian people with HIV in Victoria and continue to contribute to the NAPWHA national forums for Positive Asian Network Australia (PANA) and the Positive Latinx Australia Network (PLAN) forum and start a new group for PLHIV from South Asian backgrounds
- LPV will coordinate a Women’s Day for women living with HIV to relax and connect in a supportive environment
- LPV will source and deliver 100 Festive Hampers to people living in isolation experiencing hardship during the end-of-year period
- LPV will represent people living with HIV at national and state levels on advisory group, working group and committee representations which enhance our peer skill to provide programs that support PLHIV
