With three of LPV’s long serving team members recently announcing their departure (David Westlake, Vic Perri and Brenton Geyer), it has ushered in a new era of staffing and a renewed focus on delivering the quality programs and services that LPV is known for.
Introducing Sharon Casey
On behalf of the operational team at Living Positive Victoria, we would like to welcome our newest employee, Sharon Casey.
With David Westlake retiring from the role of Business Support Manager, Sharon will take up the newly formed role of Operations Coordinator, which encompasses a diverse range of administrative responsibilities across human resources, workplace health and safety, policy and facilities management.
Sharon brings to us years of not-for-profit management and administration experience and is a valuable addition to our team, ensuring that we continue to strengthen our operational functionality, enabling our client facing staff and managers to deliver quality services and advocacy across the ever-diversifying communities that we engage with.

New communications role
Last month the fabulous Brenton Geyer finished up at LPV after more than 10 years of service in the role of Senior Communications Officer.
Tom Herbert has been working as a Digital Content Creator and Communications Officer for LPV since 2023, and LPV is delighted to announce that this month Tom has stepped into the brand new role of Digital and Communications Lead.
Tom has worked closely with Brenton during his time at LPV and together they have grown our reach and engagement across all of our channels, working hard to freshen up our communications through our Poslink media brand, including a new podcast, video channel and our regular newsletters.
Tom’s background in film and television, and his skills and experience managing social media channels have enabled LPV to more digital, video and audio content than ever before.
