Are you an HIV Long Term Survivor?

As a follow up to our successful HIV Long Term Survivors Awareness Day event last June, we are continuing that momentum through the peer connection we developed during the wonderful gathering that night at Hotel Collingwood. This will be a simple and relaxed coffee catchup to discuss what this new group might look like. If you wish to be a part of this brand new venture, come along.

All ages. Partners/carers welcome.

Who is an HIV Long Term Survivor?

Regardless of age, some of us have had HIV for a long while. According to the HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day founder, this includes people who were diagnosed prior to accessing combination therapy around 1996 or diagnosed just after this year with AIDS and have now had it for more than 25 years. This also includes people who were born with or acquired HIV as babies and are now in their 30s and 40s.

This is a partnership between Living Positive Victoria, Positive Women Victoria and Thorne Harbour Health.

Wheelchair accessible. Transport assistance for those who have mobility issues is available, please let us know.
