Positive Health Care Workers Tea Room Webinar III with Dr Tristan Barber

Join us for the third Tea Room webinar with Dr Tristan Barber, a leading voice in HIV medicine and advocacy.

Dr Barber (he/them) is a Consultant Physician in HIV Medicine at the Ian Charleson Day Centre, Royal Free Hospital,  Honorary Associate Professor at the Institute for Global Health, University College London, and Chair of the British HIV Association (BHIVA). Tristan is Immediate Past Chair for the peer support charity Positively UK, and has been living with HIV since 2002.

He is current Editor-in-chief for the journal ‘HIV Research and Clinical Practice’. Tristan established a dedicated frailty service for ageing patients with HIV infection in 2019 (The Sage Clinic) and has a research background in HIV-related neurocognitive impairment and antiretroviral clinical trials. He is passionate about global health and ending HIV related stigma.

Following Dr Barber, there will be an opportunity to connect in a confidential, peer-led discussion space, facilitated by other HIV-positive healthcare workers.

The Positive Health Care Worker Network is a dedicated space for health care providers living with HIV. This includes professionals working in dentistry, aged care and disability support, among other health care roles.

Please note that all participants must read, sign, and adhere to the LPV Privacy Statement and the Rights and Responsibilities Policy – you can read these by clicking through to the registration page.
