Call for Board Nominations
LPV is calling for nominations for election to the Board.
There are 3 elected director positions available in this cycle.
This is a chance for full members to help guide the future of LPV and strengthen the voice of people living with HIV in Victoria.
Board service matters. The Board sets LPV’s strategic direction, oversees governance, manages risk, supports financial sustainability, and keeps the organisation accountable to its members and purpose.
You do not need previous board experience to nominate.
You need to be a full member of LPV. You need to care about our community. You need to be willing to listen, contribute, work with others, and act in the best interests of the organisation.
LPV welcomes nominations from members with different backgrounds, skills, ages, genders, cultures, and lived experiences. We encourage nominations from people who bring community knowledge, professional skills, governance experience, or a strong commitment to our work.
How to nominate
1. Review:
- Rules of Incorporation
- Board of Directors Overview
- Supporting Statement Guidelines
- Example Supporting Statement
2. Complete and submit:
- Board Nomination Form, signed by your supporting full member
- Supporting Statement (maximum 300 words)
3. Email both documents to secretary@lpv.org.au by the deadline, 5PM AEST, Thursday 24 September 2026.
