Let’s Talk About HIV (Stigma)

A conversation between healthcare workers & people living with HIV

Healthcare workers work hard to provide quality care and support to their patients.

This includes patients with HIV, but healthcare workers aren’t always sure what to do or how to respond if a person shares their HIV status.

In this 8-minute video, nurses and people with HIV ask each other questions over a cup of tea. How do patients decide whether to tell a healthcare worker that they have HIV? What should healthcare workers do and say when a patient shares that they have HIV? What makes a safe healthcare service?

Grab a cuppa and find out.
